“The Dreaming Architect is my alter ego.”
The Dreaming Architect is my alter ego.
He is an architect who loves design. Colors, textures, materials, geometry, numbers, measurements, and all the little details that make something work.
Before starting each new project, he takes a blank canvas and begins creating his vision of the place.
He experiments with colors until he finds the right ones. He tests materials, draws shapes, makes notes, changes his mind, and starts again.
He loves structure, but he also loves imperfections. Sometimes the accidental marks are his favorite part.
And he has a thing for rabbits.
He believes rabbits represent creativity, curiosity, and imagination. The freedom to play, explore, and do something without knowing exactly where it's going.
So he draws them on his canvases. Even in the middle of his very serious architectural plans.
Once the project is finished, he keeps the canvas as a memory of the place he created.
A little piece of the process, with all its ideas, decisions, mistakes, and unexpected moments.
Not everything needs to be planned.
Sometimes he just want to relax and play.
